The largest European and world's second largest aircraft manufacturer is Airbus SAS a subsidiary of EADS. The Airbus benefits from a unique workforce that speaks over 20 different languages and integrates more than 80 worker from all around the world. There are more than 80 different nationalities working at the Airbus over 55,000 workforces. Such cultural diversity is the key to Airbus success. The airline industry is of great value to the world is the backbone of international trade economy, creating 33 million jobs in the world, its contribution to the economy reaches U.S. $ 580 billion (8%) of GDP in Europe. Therefore, we can say that Airbus face sometimes severe cross cultural management issues to motivate its global employees as each country differs from the other country on various factors such as cultural, legal, ethical factors political, economic, legal, and social. A lot companies have suffered from the failure of their international assignments because they have too often neglected the intercultural preparation of their employees.
Airbus is being affected by the different cultures within the company in a negative way. This causes communication problems, inefficiency, and lack of one corporate culture. a) To meet people from other cultures, different approach is needed to this cultural management enable in order to get better cooperation and understanding. Different cultures bring different expectations, and values sensibilities. These different worldviews effect perception as to how business is conducted with respect and ethics. Specific knowledge of business logic, courtesies, and protocols add fluidity improve these potential and partnerships relationships. The most important tools for communication language is the one of. Cross-cultural management courses often incorporate language acquisition. According to Browaeys sometimes, business meeting brings culture shock, culture shock, intercultural management training provides people to alleviate the difficult transitions experienced by foreign, colleagues and business partners (Browaeys, 2011). b) Technical problems & Socio-cultural is the one of the problem that had been faced by airbus. The workforce at the aircraft manufacturer is geographically distributed in proportion to national ownership stakes. In an instance of economic nationalism, government distort private transactions among economic actors by discriminating against foreigners in the name of national interest. This lead to the decrease in the productive efficiency. The various differences of way of communication and management styles. For e.g.: comparing with the German people, the French prefer centralized decision, whereas the Germans prefer collective decision making. At the same time the Spanish are flexible but have inferiority complex, so they have tendency to be vague and unreliable due to which they respond very less.
