Busch Gardens, always a fun but time consuming amusement park. Fun with all the shows, thrills, and adrenaline rushes. Time consuming with the traveling traffic, long lines, and an extreme amount of people. Most families leave their kids at home with a babysitter, but other families bring their kids and invite the grandparents who won’t ride the rides. At age five I was tall enough for most of the rides at Busch Gardens.

It was a Friday night in June, when my parents were planning a trip to Busch Gardens. Also planning to invite my grandparents to watch my brother and I while my parents rode the roller coasters. Saturday, warm and sunny, everyone was awake and ready by seven. We were to be on the road at eight in the morning, hoping to arrive at Busch at nine. At the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel, about eight thirty, we hit slow moving traffic. Once we got through the tunnel the traffic started to move faster breaking off into four lanes. Around eight fifty, by the Fort Eustis exit, we hit traffic again. This time the traffic is hardly moving. My parents getting aggravated with my brother and I screaming, singing, and fighting in the back seat. We finally arrive at Busch at nine thirty.

Entering the park was fine until we got to the ticket scanning place. The lines were long, all the way to bag check. It took thirty minutes to get through the line and into the park. While my parents went to ride the Lochness Monster, my grandparents took my brother and I to see the Clydesdale and ride the Little Clydesdale. When my parents rode the roller coasters, my grandparents would take my brother and I to ride the little rides or just sit and watch us.

We walked through the park heading to German for lunch. Along the way, whenever there was a roller coaster, my parents would jump in line.
