What are The Branches of Chemistry?

Abstract
Chemistry is one of the important sciences in the world because it explains many things in our physical world. It is considered as the center of science because it contains essential information which could be necessary for other people who study other sciences such as physics, biology, ecology and geology. This essay will discuss some of the branches of chemistry and the importance of each one of them. The research strategy used was to consult up to date academic databases, newspapers and books. It was discovered that the three branches that will be discussed are connected to each other. Therefore, it is fundamental to our life and without it we could not live our life as we live it now.

Chemistry is one of the important sciences in the world because it explains everything in our physical world. Chang (2002) identifies that chemistry is considered as the center of science because it contains essential information which could be necessary for other people who study other sciences such as physics, biology, ecology and geology. In other words, it is fundamental to our life and without it we could not live our life as we live it now. Chemistry is responsible of the study of substances, their components such as molecules, atoms which cannot be seen with naked eye and its physical and chemical properties. Also, it studies the changes that happen to the matter due to their reactions and the energy that come out of the reaction. In addition, it studies the types of matter's reactions such as combustion, decomposition and dissociation. Although chemistry is an earliest science, it still discovering more information that explains a lot of phenomenon. Chemistry is divided into different branches due to their properties. Chemistry has a lot of branches; the most famous and important three are organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry and...
